Pet Supermarket

This place really needs improvement. Fish water is TOXIC!! 2 years ago I posted a review about my experience buying a fish. I saw alot of dirty tanks and dead fish. Not much has changed. Today I bought a fish and a few plants. The tanks looked ok, I liked that the tanks has plants in them, substrate and driftwood. Visually some of the tanks looked like they needed a gravel vacuum. I only saw 2 dead fish this time which is better than my last vist. I was greeted and helped promptly. The guy working in the fish section was very knowledgeable and helpful. So pretty good experience so far... until I got home and decided to test the water from the bag the fish was in and the separate bag the plants were in. Wow I couldn't believe it. The nitrite level was between 1–3 ppm and the nitrate was 200

This is the best pet store in the area; it is always clean, staff is friendly, and everything is affordable! Vi, one of the staff, is very knowledgeable on all of the animals and did a great job helping me with adopting a cat AND building out an aquarium, filling it with beautiful fish and plants that she recommended. I am here several times a week and they know how to take care of their customers.

10/19/25 I went to your store (Store #194) to buy two cat litter boxes and a dog bed. The dog bed I wanted was dirty, and the cashier offered me a 10% discount but when I got home, I saw it wasn’t applied. Also, the two litter boxes I bought were supposed to be the same, but one had a see-through door and filter, and the other didn’t. For the same brand, that’s disappointing. I just wanted to share my frustration if you say you’ll do something, please follow through. This experience really let me down.

Every time I come into Pet Supermarket, Eric and Bri (aka Red) make the experience so enjoyable! They are both incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help answer any questions I have. On top of that, they’re super friendly and have a way of making you feel like family the moment you walk in. It’s rare to find that kind of customer service these days, and it’s exactly why I’ll keep coming back. Big thanks to Eric and Red for always going above and beyond!
