Pet Station Gardnerville

I have visited several Pet Station locations over the years, and the Gardnerville location is by far the best. I truly love this store. The staff has always been welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful, and the store is consistently clean and well maintained. While the Tahoe locations were our first introduction to Pet Station and offered great products and experiences at that time, the level of professionalism there has unfortunately declined. During recent visits, customers are not greeted, staff remain behind the counter without engagement, and the store itself appears dusty and poorly maintained. In contrast, the Gardnerville Pet Station continues to set the standard with exceptional staff, outstanding customer service, and a positive shopping experience every time.

This place is a great option for food and treats especially if you care about quality. However, the dog baths are a disgrace. Very dirty, hardly cleaned in between washes. Dogs deserve clean bathes too. I think they shouldn’t even allow the next guest until the bath is cleaned. Our dogs deserve the absolute best!

They're very friendly, always helpful. Shop here for our dog needs. They have better prices than other pet stores. The store Manager and assistant have helped with recommendations a few times. They have also checked in with me if what they recommended was helpful.

We shop here regularly and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Good selection of dog and cat products. We always return because the service is excellent!

The employees at Gardnerville Pet Station clearly love animals and are passionate about their work with pet owners. They are cheerful, helpful, and understanding, which made for an outstanding experience. I'm so glad I decided to visit after all these years! I’ll be returning soon to pick up a water filter for the wonderful drinking fountain they recommended. It turns out cats love moving water, and now our fountain doubles as a soothing, Zen-like addition to our kitchen!
