The store owner is extremely entitled and rude. I came in with my mother and my new dog, who is well behaved and was just having anxiety as it was her first day with us. The first thing she said to me was "You gotta keep her on that leash, I've had 3 dogs pee in here today." Fair enough, I have no plans of allowing my dog to misbehave. It's important to mention that I am disabled and was using my cane when I walked in. She ignored me the entire time and only talked to my mom. I am 24 years old! I tried to join in on the conversation, agreeing with her on certain brands of dog food and briefly mentioning that I have a lot of experience handling and training dogs. The lady owner has zero customer service skills. I had an incident when returning a body harness for my dog. For my credit she asked me to hold on to the receipt and that’s it. That was confusing there was zero proof of credit on my behalf. She flipped out and said you know I’m the owner and went on her rant feeling offended. I left trusting her but the uneasiness of it all got to me so I ended up going back to use my credit before she forgot about it. Second incident I asked her helper for help loading the the dog food into my car. I was feeling unwell and the help would be appreciated. She flipped out on me how I’m a man and that helper has a bad back, which made no sense if he just brought me my50 lbs bag to me. Her customer service is just horrid. Uncalled for not knowing my cur

After I paid for my items which totaled around $30 dollars I noticed my tax on the items totaled $11. I said that is too high for taxes and she said in Signal hill the taxes are higher. I still knew that was too high so I showed her. She gave me a refund. Please be careful and check the taxes that she is charging.

We have had the biggest problems getting our elderly cat to eat and he’s losing weight. The guy installing our patio recommended this place so I went in and talked to patty who was so helpful and informative. She gave me free samples to try out. I came home and he quickly devoured the small amount I gave him to try. Tomorrow we will go back and stock up on it. I finally am able to give him what he needs thanks to this place. He’s acting all cuddly right now because he wants more of it. It’s not even that expensive.

Honestly i went there like 3 months ago and she didn't let me get more than one bag, she got mad because we didn't use her card machine correctly and she was rude, sad because i wanted to support a small business but it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. dont think ill go back.
