Both Dr. Pappas and Dr. Emily are amazing and we couldn't be happier. We like the fact that we can wait in the car since our pup has anxiety with other animals and doctor offices. Yes, they are very busy and short staffed, and yes, sometimes we wait a few hours once we are there. But we still drive an hour each way because our pup gets the best care here.

I took my dog, Bella, in for a scheduled dental cleaning at 9:40 a.m. and was told to call around 3:00–3:30 p.m. for an update. When I called at exactly 3:00 p.m., I was informed that nothing had been done due to emergencies and short staffing. I completely understand that emergencies happen and take priority. What I don’t understand or accept is the lack of communication, compassion, and professionalism that followed. Bella sat in a cage all day for a procedure that was ultimately canceled, and I was never notified. I had to call to find this out myself. I was told they had “tried to call,” but when I arrived, the phone number on file was incorrect. I had just filled out a consent form that morning with an emergency contact number, yet no attempt was made to check or use it. Even account

Dr. Pappas can have a waiting room of patients but gives you the time you need and never rushed you out. Sometimes late afternoon hours can fill up and the wait can be a bit long but it is worth it. Everyone there is very friendly and patient with you and your pets!

They have always been able to get me in quickly to see my animal, even when something is an almost emergency. Take care to listen and take the time with your pet. Wait time can sometimes be a bit much but overall great service.

We love Dr. Emily. She left HousePaws and notified all clients if they’d like to follow her to do so. She’s a wonderful Vet and a wonderful human being. We are very lucky to have her 🫶🏻
