Pet Check Urgent Care

Brought in a stray I had been feeding for the past 6 years and was surprised to find out he was microchipped. The staff was friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to track down the owner which turned out to be a TNR rescue. Since he wasn’t owned by a person they agreed to treat him and took excellent care considering how scarred he was to be there. They did all the things I asked for and were full of advice on how to integrate him into my household with my other two felines. They genuinely went above and beyond and I could tell they really cared about him and how his future would play out. Excellent staff and very clean and well maintained office. Would definitely recommend!!

Pet check urgent care was simply the best for my baby girl! My cat is a nervous Nelly and was refused at previous vets . I brought her here to be seen , they walked me through how to make her most comfortable to have the best experience ! That’s exactly what happened ! She will definitely be going back here for her check ups!! Joyce was lovely and very helpful on the phone! Timmy the vet tech was gentle and patient with my babygirl! I have a 13+ yo pittie mix & this morning I noticed he was bleeding while having a bowel movement. It’s Sunday & my vet is closed. I called Pet Check & the receptionist was kind, patient & very helpful while explaining the registration process. They called 90 min later to head down for my appt. The vet tech, Danni was awesome, she took a very detailed history , was gentle and very comforting. Because we thought it was an infected anal gland, she took him in the back for Dr. Leso to check his glands. He had an infected anal gland. Dr.Leso came into the room & explained the diagnosis, treatment & how to monitor it in case it got worse. Dani went over the information again before we left.Checkout was a breeze. Phenomenal care from start to finish. My kitten hadnt been acting right for a few days. Ive only had her 2 weeks so didnt even have a vet set up yet and of course it was the weekend. Gave Pet Check a try and so glad I did! Got there early because I knew it was a first come first serve situation. The lady at the front desk was so friendly upon arrival. She immediately added me to the list and took all my information. Even being 3rd in line, Dani, came right out and took my cat back to at least make sure her breathing was stable. They had a xray machine on site to check her lungs. Doctor was friendly and very knowledgeable. Medicine was provided on site. I thought prices were very reasonable. We came home to find our boy Rocco not acting like himself, so we rushed him over to Pet Check Deptford. Even though it was 6:30 on Halloween evening, the team welcomed us with kindness and care. They quickly figured out what was going on—poor Rocco has colitis and an ear infection, and they’re also checking for possible allergies. The staff was thorough, compassionate, and truly went above and beyond to make sure Rocco was comfortable and getting the best care possible. We usually visit the Sewell location (which is also great!), but since the vet there was leaving for the night, we gladly stopped by Deptford. Both locations are wonderful, and we highly recommend Pet Check for anyone looking for a caring and professional veterinary team. Thank you for taking such great care of our pup! 🐾
