I recently took my maltichon to see Dr Salkus and staff after a very trying time with my previous vet. The service needed was time sensitive and I explained to Samantha at PAH my sense urgency and frustration. I was reassured that I could get what I needed with Dr. Salkus. And as promised, Dr Salkus and staff delivered. I felt heard and seen. Dr. Salkus examined my pup and explained all I needed to know and more without me having to “pull teeth”. He was very reassuring, patient, and informative. I appreciate genuine kindness from and professionalism from PAH. Jhamie W.

I had Doc. McCain run test on My cat Josaphivenus and treat her on Dec. 23 ,2025 turns out she had diabetes. She So thin so frail I decided to have her Euthanized , broke my heart she was so personable . To me . I recommend this veterinary hospital . They are through and compassionate. Doc. We got into our appointment promptly and were treated courteously by the front desk staff. My dog Madison and I both liked Dr. McCain and the vet tech whose name I didn’t get. They spent plenty of time with us, listened to me, and were thorough in going over my options to have a growth removed. The surgery is scheduled now and he will also be getting his teeth cleaned. He is now a senior and we were able to get his blood drawn at the end of the exam to make sure he is healthy enough.

We met Dr. Satkus. In 2023 when we moved here to Sun City. Ricky was a rescue, he had been treated very badly in his first 6 months, fostered for 3 months, we adopted him at 9 months. Any Vet had to use a muzzle to treat & examine him… until we met Dr Satkus, whom we now call the dog whisperer. Dr. Satkus brought him into the room after his exam.. no muzzle. He had examined him, & his mouth! No one had ever perform that before! Amazing. Steve & I nearly fell off of our chairs! Bringing you up to the present. Something happened with our Ricky, he wore a doggy diaper as he marked everywhere & he had worn this for 2 1/2 years with no issue. Something suddenly changed. He became aggressive, biting us, he seemed to be in pain & had other issues. His quality of life changed suddenly. We saw Dr S

Horrible experiences with this place. Their doctors tried to give my dogs way to many rounds of shots then their little bodies Could handle. They constantly would book us for the wrong times. I highly recommend finding your vet treatments elsewhere. This place just wants to keep your dogs sick. Over a year they couldn't figure out what was wrong withy dogs. Come to find out everything they tried was the wrong answer. Yep a non vet figured it out. Joke of a place. Don't let that Snow doctor touch your dogs. Seriously!!!
