People For Cats

The organization deeply cares for cats and the people that are adopting. They are a no kill, no declawing shelter that also has a trap and release program. Everyone that works and volunteers here is super friendly, enthusiastic, and is passionate about cats. The building is really nice clean and comfortable for the cats. They also do a good job of vetting future cat owners. This is a high quality organization!

I went almost unwilling. I'm single and live alone. The last thing I need is a cat. I left after having adopted not 1 but 2 cats. They are 11 years old and brother and sister siblings. They have lived their entire lives together and the folks at People For Cats would not separate them. You want 1 you get 2. I got 2 and frankly I couldn't be happier. They liked me immediately and the feeling was mutual. They are loving affectionate companions. I was initially told that they might not eat or use the litter box for a day or two and might even hide for a bit. None of this happened. I fed them twice the first day and found it necessary to clean their litter box 3!! times. I brought them home on Saturday April 1st (who's the fool?) and they have slept in my bed every night. I sent in an applications and they denied me because I have dogs and they said that the cat will not do good with other animals in the home. The profile of the cat said it was good with other animals. I find this misleading advertising, saying that the cat is good with other animals in the home when it is really not.

Lovely people with a very clean and functional facility. The care of pets and proper placement is priority. 10/10 would recommend for adoptions as well as animal surrender. They are the right place to go

These folks are all about finding suitable homes for cats. This is a no kill center located very near a veterinarian. The cats are housed in suites (rooms) for the most part rather than cages. It can be a little hard to find as I drove right past Beagle Lane. Look for the veterinarian office.
