Pennsylvania Animal Wellness and Surgery

We took our golden retriever Lily to Pennsylvania Animal Wellness and Surgery for her TPLO surgery, and we could not be happier with the experience! The entire staff took the time to carefully explain every detail of the procedure, answer all our questions, and make sure we felt completely comfortable. They treated Lily with so much love and care, and it was clear they truly value their patients. Even though we drove all the way from Maryland, it was absolutely worth it! The team provided exceptional care at a very fair and reasonable price. We are so grateful for how smoothly everything went and highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate and high quality veterinary surgery and care.

I cannot recommend them more!! This is the best vet I have ever met! My dog had a bleeding mass and was on the books at another vet to get it removed! I called them panicked because my dog was bleeding everywhere and the emergency vet did not consider it an emergency. They were so helpful and even though they are not an emergency vet they were able to see him the same day I called. They originally thought they would not be able to do the surgery the same day but ended up offering to operate that day. I will be forever grateful for their kindness and compassion! I will forever recommend them! They also charged us less than we were originally quoted from both the other vet and their original quote! That never happens at a vet! They are very reasonable priced!

Very happy to be with this practice! The facility is clean and modern, the access to advanced diagnostics is great and the staff is fantastic. We are crazy cat parents with a clowder of 8, and our 15 y/o male had a sudden decline with his chronic vomiting. Dr. Fowkes is so empathetic, knowledgeable, transparent and thorough with testing. We finally got a diagnosis and treatment plan to manage his symptoms and he's doing so well ❤️‍🩹 They're great for regular well visits, allowing us to bring all 4 1 y/o's together for vaccines/check ups, so no post vet bullying since they all smell the same way 😸 The on-site meds offered are super convenient. I trust this vet with all four of my pets, 2 cats and 2 dogs. Everyone is kind, understanding, and truly caring about the animals (not the money). I recommend this vet practice to everyone.
