I am a cat lover and I was looking to adopt 2 new cats. My coworker told me about this place and I was sooo happy with their cat selection. We found 2 kittens that we instantly fell in love with and was happy to make them part of our family. The process was smooth and the shelter workers were friendly. Thank you!

If I could give no stars I would. I inquired about a dog and was told that the manager chris wasnt in on that day to go over my application, which I was fine with. But the fact I go onto the website and the dog I inquired about has been adopted that same day an hour later. Shady as hell. How is this acceptable. The staff knows what dogs got adopted and could have asked us were we interested in any other dog or tell us she was already adopted. Never got a phone call saying she was adopted just strung along until I checked the website. I will never adopt an animal from them ever, they do shady business. 😤 They judged me and my family from the time we pulled in the dirt driveway.

We just adopted “Gulliver”, we named him Fred, from this shelter 2 weeks ago. He died yesterday, very suddenly, from Feline panleukopenia virus, aka, Feline Distemper. I called and spoke with his foster mom, and apparently he was not vaccinated before coming home with us, likely contracted the virus from the staff interacting with the 100’s of feral cats outside, and he was barely weaned. This little guy died a sudden, and horrific death. I would not normally say anything negative about anyone who “rescues” animals, but in this case, for all of the kittens sake, I am speaking up. Yes, our Vet at Tri-Co confirmed what Fred had and we paid to end his suffering. We are heartbroken and so angry. Please find another shelter to adopt from.
