First time visit. The front desk was so friendly and helpful. The veterinarian did not make me wait long. He was very knowledgeable and took very good care of my dog. I will be returning and he saw us on a Saturday.

Unfortunately, I’ve had many bad experiences with this vet. Multiple misdiagnoses, failure to diagnose simple things, and mistakes with serious consequences for owners and pets. Worst of all was a careless euthanasia that caused needless suffering, pain, and fear for our beloved cat at the end of her life. I want to believe that Dr. Joe does his best. But after many years I have to conclude that his services are consistently both emotionally unkind and technically inadequate. There’s just no excuse.

This clinic is amazing!! I am a review reader and typically won't go somewhere that has less than a 4.6. They got us in right away and had done surgery before our regular vet could even schedule a consult!! Dr Joe is wonderful, our Mojo loves him and is always happy to go back! If our boy loves him and he treats him well that's what really matters!!! Penns valley vet is the kind of clinic that we wish we could find for ourselves very knowledgeable Dr. Who makes you feel like your the only patient he has. He generally cares about your fur babies!

I personally did not get to experience this place myself other than over the telephone, but my sister unfortunately saw Dr. Joe on Monday at 10 AM for about five minutes. He told her it was a simple UTI for her mini pig prescribed an antibiotic and sent her on her way back home. By Wednesday digger was not improving but worsening she called the vet back. They told her they would get a note back to him because he wasn’t in. They called her back. Telling her to just stop the antibiotic and And that digger should perk up by Saturday she calls again Thursday because he’s getting even more worse. They don’t tell her to come up. Asked to talk to the vet he doesn’t call her back and around trying to figure out what could be wrong and we are being told blockage. My sisters pig ends up dying befor

First experience with this vet, will definitely be my last. Especially after coming to google reviews and seeing so many people who’ve had similar experiences with this vet I am disgusted. Please people! Your pets deserve better.
