Pender Veterinary Centre - Manassas

Pender Veterinary truly goes above and beyond in the care they provide. From the moment you walk in, the front desk staff is kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The techs are compassionate, patient, and clearly love what they do—they treat every pet as if it were their own. And the veterinarians are exceptional: thorough, knowledgeable, and deeply caring, taking the time to explain everything and make both pets and owners feel at ease. The entire team works together seamlessly, and you can feel the compassion and dedication in every interaction. I’m so grateful to have such an incredible veterinary team caring for my pet.

This was a last minute app like always... this time was Stella. They are all so great with us, every time we need to go to see Doctor Mayo or Doctor Watkins they make space to see my furry friends.

Dr. Mayo is excellent and so are her techs!!! She’s looked after our dogs for years and is extremely knowledgeable, no-nonsense, and compassionate! Truly have never met a vet that cares more about our animals.

I will not be moving forward with any future visits for my pet. My decision is based on a negative experience with your front desk staff, who I found to be rude. I do not feel comfortable proceeding with my pet's surgery at a facility where I have to worry about the staff's conduct while my pet is in your care. I need to be able to focus on my pet's recovery without the added stress of unprofessional behavior from the staff.

If you want good bedside manner, Dr. Mayo isn’t that. She is rude, short, and has no patience for humans or animals. I patiently waited almost 2 hours in the office because they were running behind for her to be so rude. I think maybe something bad happened before I arrived but either way, that’s not my fault or my animals and we shouldn’t have emotions taken out on us. Pender is fantastic for vet needs, just see someone else!
