I have a dog can be very mean. He doesn’t like to picked or anything . He has a sweet side but not at all with strangers. Anyway I finally got up the courage to have him groomed. It’s a real ordeal. The staff there from office, groomer techs and vet were a team. It took 4 people to hold a 29# dog to sedate him and he is 14. They were so patient and understanding. They didn’t give up once. I live in Roanoke now but I still make the drive when he needs care They’re very worth it!

We are a military family new to the area. We didn’t know our dogs seizure medication refills wouldn’t transfer to a different state because our vet said it wouldn’t be a problem to get his refills transferred. We called when they opened on a Saturday morning to see if they’d squeeze him in for an exam so he could get a new prescription. They said no and wouldn’t even try. I’ve worked for two vets offices and we always did anything we could to help an animal in need. Just blows my mind that it’s a simple thing to accommodate an animal with epilepsy and under the circumstances they wouldn’t even consider it.

Dr Sumner has been my horse vet for years. He has always been kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable with both my horses. I had to call him after hours over Labor day weekend. Without hesitation he came out and worked with my horse until after midnight. Sadly after hours of trying to save Freckles we had to humanely euthanize. I highly recommend Farm Veterinary in Rocky Mount Va.

We have been a customer with Pell clinic for years. They have always been very professional. We have two dogs we love very much. We just recently had to put our oldest dog to rest because of old age. I just wanted to let everyone know that they helped us through the process very well. Anyone who has been through this understands how hard it can be to make that decision. Rest in peace Snowball we love you and will miss you. Thanks for all you do to care for our pets Pell Animal Clinic you are the best.

I absolutely love Pell Animal Clinic in Rocky Mount. We recently rescued a boxer, the sister, to Bruno a boxer we got last year. They were able to work me in to get her up to date on everything. Also micro chipped her that day before we left. They staff and Dr's are awesome and really listen to my concerns. Amy (vet tech) is very knowledgeable in everything and is amazing with all of my animals. All of our animals love going to see them.
