Many years ago Dottie introduced me to my 1st Pekingese and it was love at 1st site. He was a little, year old, white ball of fur with a captivating smile. Really! As Dottie took him out of her car He leap into my arms! I took him home to RI and he knew this was it. Of all my dogs, he was the most loving and became my favorite Pek. I’ve been a Pek Mumma since that day. All rescues!

I have adopted an adorable female Pekingese from this rescue. Although I looked at many rescue sites before ultimately adopting my Peke, I was very pleased with my experience with this rescue. The Director was very responsive, and answered all of my questions completely and clearly. I felt like I knew my potential Peke, before I had even met her. The process was thorough, but, not unreasonable. The Director even provided me with guidance regarding how to best help my new addition to adjust to my home/family. The fee for my Peke was quite reasonable, I received all her vetting information, and she had been spayed and had been provided with treatment for weakness in her rear legs. I know that the vetting costs for her were much more than what I paid in an adoption fee. I am grateful
