He took care of my cat with an eye issue and referred me to a specialist in San Antonio, that I also highly recommend.. South Texas Veterinary Specialty clinic!! While visiting the area for the holidays, we had to do the unthinkable—unexpectedly say goodbye to our sweet Golden Retriever. They did not hesitate to support us over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, getting us in immediately without making us jump through hoops. Dr. Sam and team were patient with us as we made the difficult decision and gave us the space we needed to say goodbye. We will forever be grateful!

We came in from out of town and my Schnauzer was in a lot of pain. I worked up early on Saturday and called. They said they could see me right away. We went in and were taken care of almost immediately. The vet who helped us, a younger woman, was so kind and so thorough. She had an idea what might be the issue but it was an assumption. We really didn’t know what was wrong with our dog so she asked if she could do some tests. I was concerned about the cost but I agreed. The vet came back with test results. Blood, urine, stool, and even an ultrasound. She identified our dog was healthy but suffering from a UTI. This was not on the list of potential problems so, I’m happy they did push to investigate further. The vet gave me antibiotics and instructions. We went to the crib to check out. I
