Pawsome University

Jamie, her husband and their entire crew are awesome! She trained our loving Harper! Harper is now 3 and knows all of the cues that Jamie taught her. Jamie and John are such a great pair! Thank you for all that you do for me and all of our fur babies! We have 3 rescues and they love them just as much as we do. And we also use pawsome walks and each and everyone one that come to our home loves our pups and treats them like one of their own

I reached out to Jamie because I was having a baby and had a rescue that was very frightened of people, nipped out in fear, and I had reached my limit with what I could do. Jaime and Pawesome University fit my beliefs of positive reinforcement and a K9 behavioral therapist was what my K9 girl needed. I live in CA and was skeptical about dog training over Zoom, rather than in person, but it was exactly what we needed! We can’t say enough about Jaime and John! We used them for the first time when we rescued our blind dog over 4 years ago. We were also trying to introduce our 12 yr old set in her ways dog to our new blind puppy. Jaime was amazing at teaching us techniques to work with them and to remind us how normal it all was. She would teach with compassion and positive reinforcement. Jaime went as far as meeting us with her blind dog in the park to see first hand what to do. We recently recommended her to my niece for training of her new puppy. Great trainers and the nicest people.

So happy with our experience with Jamie! We adopted a rescue puppy who was very protective over his food. We were so worried this would develop into a bigger problem and seeked help immediately. Jamie made it a priority to teach us exactly why he was feeling protective and gave us incredible tools to create a reliable and confident bond with our puppy. Gunner is now 10 months old and is not insecure or protective over his meals. In general, he is less frustrated, more confident, super loving! Don’t know what we would do without her training and guidance!

Where do I begin? Jaime has helped transform from Nashville from a dog I didn’t think anyone would be able to watch him due to his reactivity to a dog who has grown into a confident goof ball. Jaime gives every dog the individualized attention they need and has helped with medication management when he started to show signs of regression. I cannot thank Jaime enough for her help in bringing out the best in our Nash!
