My dog was not properly groomed. He was brought in today for a bath and blowout, which I was told would include a full bath, deshedding/blowout, nail trim, and anal gland expression. He has a wire coat, so no shaving was necessary. However, when I picked him up, his ears were still damp, his nails were uneven, his paws were dry, and I immediately noticed loose hair falling off him as he walked. When I asked about the services completed, the receptionist said, “I don’t know, I’m not the groomer,” but then contradicted himself by saying my dog received a thorough blowout. The groomer later confirmed the same, but I could clearly see large amounts of loose hair still coming out. I started taking my dogs here a couple years ago. They love daycare and the couple times I have used them for boarding, I've been really happy with the care my dogs received. When one of my dogs had cancer and had a leaky seroma they still let him come to daycare, and were great with him. They really helped me make his last year a happy one, and I am immensely grateful.

First time to use daycare for my pomeranian. I was a nervous wreck. He's a rescue puppy with some security issues. He stayed 8 hours. I went to pick him up and he didn't want to come home. He had such a good time that he kept running back to the owner wanting to go play with his new friends. I had absolutely no reason to be nervous.

This is the BEST doggy daycare and boarding that we have ever used!! You will be hard pressed to find owners and staff that provide the same level of care as they do. Our boys have been coming to Paws for years! They get so excited when I tell them we are going to daycare!! In fact, they love it so much that one of my dogs actually jumped out of the car window while it was still moving and ran straight to the door (windows get rolled up now lol!). The facility is always clean & well lit, and my dogs come home smelling better than when I dropped them off! Whether our dogs are just playing for the day or boarding for the week, I have every confidence that they are not only having fun, but being loved on and cared for like I would! I needed a place to board my Gordon while recovering from surgery. I asked for a tour of the facilities to see where my dog would be staying. I was told that no one was ever allowed out of the lobby, per the owners. From the doorway, I couldn’t really see anything. What little I could see looked kind of dark & dreary. There also was an unpleasant odor that smelled like more than just disinfectant. When you are not allowed to tour a boarding facility, not even by appointment, that raises too many red flags for me!!!! I’m not leaving my dog anywhere that I can’t see firsthand. It may be a very nice place, I don’t know. But this is a bad business policy IMO.
