My wife and I bring our dog on almost all of our hikes, he sadly couldn't come with us on our trek of the full wind River high route. We left our boy with paws in the winds for a full week and they took amazing care of him. So much so that he didn't even want to leave! He was literally depressed the next day not getting to play with all the other dogs and employees. We took him back the next day for a couple of hours and he literally ran to the door to get in. As sad as we are that he wasn't overly excited to see us we are beyond happy he was well taken care of. Would highly recommend to anyone for any reason whether it's boarding or daycare. There is tons of room, the owners treat the dogs like their own and they are super friendly and attentive. A+ for paws in the winds!

If you want to roll the dice and drop off your health dog and possibly pick her up with a paralyzed leg that needs to be amputated, then I would recommend Paws in the Winds. Tragically, a dog also asphyxiated there not too long ago. So at least our dog was still alive to be picked up. I previously really liked the owners, but unfortunately they took no responsibility. Our dog got a cut at the facility during boarding that became infected and presumably caused the paralysis. The leg had no function when we picked her up. However, the owners threw out possible explanations such as diabetes, and "well, she is 11 years old". We couldn't even get a refund for our boarding fees.

Tucker got attacked by an unvetted pitbull on July 18, 2023. He was left alone unsupervised with the pitbull and received severe puncture wounds. They also left my dog's medicine in reach of another dog that ate the entire contents. Pure negligence and their response was "dogs will be dogs". I have heard of a dog that lost it's leg, I see their review below and also one that choked to death. If you care about your dog, find another solution. They refused to pay the $678 vet bill. They take aggressive dogs here and do not vet them.

Wonderful place! The dogs are always so happy and well cared for. Great attention is given to their safety and making sure everything is done right for them. Highly recommend!

Went in on last Thursday made an appointment for Monday. Went in and they said it was for another week. We are traveling and I specifically said only this day would work. Also I was told they don't have many dogs there at a time and I've never heard so many dogs barking so they did me a favor. The staff acted like it was no big deal that they screwed up.
