Hiring Melissa and her team has been the best decision we made after getting a puppy. We added a 8week old puppy to a home with an older dog which was entirely a new experience to us and was understandably a handful but from the start she has made the entire process logical and easy with how she systematically does training. Not only has our puppy (now almost 2years old) become so well behaved we take her anywhere and everywhere both on and off leash, she also helped us with our reactive 11year old dog teaching us new and better ways to manage her behavior. Had a tough time finding a trainer who had a good balance of strong discipline but also a love for dogs. Melissa did a great job being and showing me how to be a firm hand with Hank - who’s a 130# 1 year old cane corso- while also showing compassion and understanding for his puppyish softness. He did a four week board and train and I was extremely happy with her work on his reactivity and control. Highly recommend.

Melissa and her team have changed our lives! We rescued little Jack at 6 months old. The first week we had him, he was the sweetest thing. Week 2? Aggressive towards anyone and any dog that wasn’t us and our mini-Bernadoodle. After two months of trying different things, we contacted Melissa since he got progressively worse. 7 weeks later, Jack is a completely different dog! He’s obedient and calm around other people and other dogs. I can hardly believe it. They are fantastic human beings who worked hard to help our Jack and we couldn’t be more grateful!
