If you’re on the fence about dog training, let me save you the hesitation: Patrick is worth it! When I first brought my energetic German Shepherd, Rocky, to Patrick, we were basically speaking different languages. Fast forward a few sessions, and wow—what a transformation! Rocky is now obedient, focused, and genuinely well-behaved. We went from frustrating tug-of-war battles to clear, joyful communication that makes us both happier. Patrick’s training style is patient, positive, and super effective. He really understands dogs (and their humans!), tailoring everything to Rocky’s personality while giving me the tools to keep the progress going. Our connection has grown so much stronger—it’s like Rocky finally “gets” me, and I get him. The best part? The improvements just keep building!

Our experience with Pat was great. We got an immediate response when we reached out to schedule and he was able to start us the same week. Our 6 month old beagle took to him immediately and her obedience and behavior noticeably improved after the first session. His style is very observant, calm and simple but firm. He takes time to explain why and how he is training and gives clear instructions on what to work on between sessions. After 5 our puppy understands several commands, walks calmly and obediently on leash and is just over all more well behaved. We absolutely recommend Paws Forward!

Patrick is an excellent dog trainer! He was patient with my two puppies who were just under a year old at the time and quickly understood their individual personalities, which made the training process more effective. I initially contacted him because I saw his video on leash pulling, and that was a big problem for me. Through his training my dogs have improved so much that walking is now more enjoyable for me and my dogs. He also taught me valuable basic techniques that I can use for other behaviors. Patrick was very accommodating with my schedule and even trained in different locations to provide real-world leash experience. I highly recommend him!
