Paw Commons Pet Resort & Training Center - Hillcrest

I really am impressed with Paw Commons. My daughter and her dog and also my two dogs have used the Hillcrest location for a few years. It is clean, straightforward, respectful, and the staff seems to really love the animals. When the babies were in daycare we regularly used their cameras to see how they were doing. There seemed to be someone out in the kennel area with them interacting positively with them most of the time. Our groomer Cassie is awesome. Quite busy, but so worth the wait. I’ve found it much easier to just schedule our groomings before we leave. This way I stay on top of it (their hair grows fast and mats easily) and I don’t have to wait for Cassie either. We had a great experience with Paw Commons! This was our first time sending our dog to daycare and we were very hesitant, but they did an amazing job getting to know her and slowly introducing her to the rest of the doggos so she feels comfortable. I also appreciated how they had a midday report (for 1st time eval) to tell us how she was doing. We'll be back if we're ever in the area again!

Our Pippin loves Paw Commons. He’s a social butterfly so it’s THE place for him. He’s been going since we rescued him and we felt comfortable enough after so many successful daycare days to board him for five days. He had a wonderful time! We received updates via a little digital report card including photos of our boy. After his five days of boarding, he received an exit bath (excellent idea) and when we picked him up he was happy and sleepy. Pros: Safe, secure, fun place for your social fur baby. The staff is kind, loves animals, remembers their name, and checks in regularly. Cons: Maybe they come back a little stinky unless you purchase an exit bath (can’t recommend that enough!). I went to get my dog evaluated for his boarding that is coming up. We had a fantastic behaviorist observe him and make suggestions. We are so happy with the recommendation and our puppy seemed to have had a great time overall.
