Customer Reviews
Staff and camp host(s) extremely friendly and professional. Sites are great. Base itself is close to the beach ⛱️ and activities and restaurants are close by. Looking forward to staying here again.
Love everything. The smell of the ocean, the water is warm, the way the sand feels on my toes, and It's so soft. It's clean.....love it
They are NOT playing around with COVID there. My dog went inside the clinic and I had to wait in the car to get a text message to pick him up.
I think it's safe to say there really is no veterinary service at this base and they should just remove it from the base information. Over a week and a half of dozens of unanswered phone calls and two direct trips to the building with our cat found lights on inside but doors are locked. No hours are posted on the door, though there are clear hours shown on the web page. You aren't allowed to leave a message because you are told by voicemail message they are not allowed to listen to, or return messages/calls. If anyone is actually "working" here, they're getting paid to do nothing. Do better or close it up. Shameful practice on a military base. We miss when the base veterinary services was ran by the military. Now majority of them are ran by civilians. At one time you could get an appointment 5 days a week when it was military staffed. You call and get a recording. Now no one answers the phones, nor there is a vet there half the time. It's ashamed, because Dr. Sloan is a good vet.
