Alex and Keith are two of the kindest people you could ever imagine. The kinds of people they say give you the shirt off their back? Well, Alex and Keith are those kind of people. I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent volunteering there and how much I’ve loved all of my time there. There are so many fantastic animals with such unique personalities, and you can tell that Alex and Keith really really care about the animals and go above and beyond for them and their care. I’ve watched transformations of horses coming in completely skin and bones, scared of touch, scared of humans, evolve into these healthy and happy equines who are then adopted out to pre-approved homes and we receive regular updates on them which is always fun! Scam. Donations are not used for animals for the most part. Cigarettes liquor and other things are what most donations go to. I was there and spent thousands over a few months. I bought all the hay paid for gas and stuff to haul it and hauled it myself. Place is all lies and manipulation. My wife who was there with had a stroke and they kicked her out. Claims christian. Very dirty nasty place. Animal co trol is there monthly. Even had to have 2 animals put down cause of animal control for mistreatment in the last couple months. Beware of this place.

Good, kind-hearted folk who take great care of the animals. We loved their Open House & Pony Rides Saturday. It was nice giving back to a worthy cause while putting big smiles on all our faces. There were regular & mammoth donkeys (we loved Eli), ponies, horses, goats, pigs, and ducks. We'll definitely be back!

Kimberly was wonderful, she took time and introduced us to all the beautiful rescued horses, donkeys, mules, goats and a pig. She was caring and very devoted to her work. All the animals were well kept, happy and very friendly, very eager to meet you and eat carrots from your hand. The owners Alex and Keith were wonderful, knowledgeable and very loyal to their cause to rescue these beautiful animals!!! A great place to volunteer your help.

Wow, where do I even start? This experience was honestly life-changing. Alex and Keith were so kind and welcoming—I felt right at home from day one. Even though there was a daily routine, no two days ever felt the same, and there were always chances to spend extra time with the horses, whether it was grooming, riding, or just hanging out with them. This is the perfect experience for anyone who already has some horse knowledge because you’ll learn so much and get to push yourself in ways you didn’t expect. Alex really encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, and I ended up doing way more than I thought I was capable of.
