Parrot Stars

My husband and I came from out of state to visit Parrot Stars after following them on podcast and social media (Everyone who has/wants a bird needs to listen to the podcast!). We were blown away by the exceptional products they have - great selection of food, cages, and stands, and the best parrot toys we’ve seen yet. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Of course, the birds were best part. It was great to be able to see so many species in one place, and get to interact with them. They were clearly well taken care of, and seemed very happy and well-socialized. Alexis was kind enough to show us around all the birds and let us hold many of the residents - it was truly a remarkable experience. We’re looking forward to next time!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Parrot Stars. My husband and I did months of research and planning before deciding which species of parrot we wanted and where we wanted to adopt from. Parrots are a huge 20-60+ year commitment depending on which species you get, and should never be an impulsive purchase. Parrot Stars talked with us and helped us decide that Pionus were the right species for us. We planned our trip to the store, driving 8 hours one way, and spent several hours playing with all of the available Pionus babies, which were let out of their cages and free flying around the big parrot room to interact with us. Everyone at Parrot Stars was Exemplary on Everything. Everything from Bird pick out to Delivery. We have nothing but Great things to say. Joyce was very Sweet and knowledgeable about each step of our Forever Companion from picking the right Bird and making sure The Bird was the Top priority. We absolutely Love this about Parrot Stars. The Shipping of our Precious Cargo was Great. Setting us up for Success with our Bird was Phenomenal. We Can’t Thank Them enough and have already Fallen In Love with our Sweet Boy Ozzy!! Really magnificent place. All of the staff are so very knowledgeable and friendly. They want what’s best for their birds and will screen potential buyers to ensure their birds will have a good home. The 2 hour class is very informative and I wish more rescues/pet stores/breeders offered that same level of care. If you don’t have the patience to undergo some refreshers/education, then you likely do not have the patience to own a bird. The macaw I purchased is so very well socialized and because of that, we’re off to the best start with training. Just a wonderful place to find a lifelong companion, and their merchandise is top-notch too. (Picture included of my lovely macaw going through his first moult in his new home.)

If you’re looking for a bird to be your companion, I highly recommend this place. They guide you through everything — from choosing the right species to getting started, including food, supplies, and proper care. The birds are well-bred, healthy, and strong. They even offer classes for both birds and bird owners. Of course, I ended up bringing home one adorable, chatty, and healthy parrot 😂
