Parktown Veterinary Clinic

Been coming to Parktown Vet for over 8 yrs and I love the level of care my dogs receive. The prices for services are competitive and I never feel pushed into buying anything extra. Our visit with Dr Griffin was fantastic. We came in for yearly vaccines and anal gland expression. She took her time approaching my dogs and had a very gentle way about her. It was our first visit with her I feel very confident in her skills.

I take my 10 year old Havanese dog to Parktown and love the service we get there. They are consistently kind and caring and helpful when we need them most. I would recommend them to everyone.

I’ve used Parktown for other services and was honestly happy with them, but this one experience completely ruined it. When we moved to Tokyo, I explicitly asked if they were comfortable handling the high-stakes travel documentation for our two American Shorthair cats. They assured me they were confident. They weren't. Because of their documentation errors, our cats were stuck in the USA for an entire year. Our only options were a 6-month quarantine or leaving them behind. It was a complete disaster. To make it worse, Parktown refused to admit any fault or take accountability for the mistakes they made. I’m happy with their basic vet services, but this singular experience was so poorly handled and had such a massive impact on our family that I can’t recommend them for anything involving

Whole staff and healing unit operate with kindness and efficiency...my fur baby loves it here and seems always very comfortable in this environment. Office set up and organization make for ease in getting pets' needs handled easily. Very busy, but very reachable by phone for questions, and aiming to soothe any concerns or issues that may arise.

I have been a faithful client of the Parktown Veterinary Clinic since the 1970’s. Our current doctor, Dr. Nakagawa is a caring, gentle, experienced professional that I will rely on through my Chloe’s entire life!
