Pappy's Pet Lodge - N. Plano

I used to use the daycare but my 2 pups prefer to be at home together while we are at work. But their grooming is top notch! Here’s Nigel before & after 🤩

Pappy’s is great! They have taken very good care of our dog for daycare and lodging. I really appreciate how the staff greet our dog by name and the comment card they provide after lodging with details about her stay.

I had to travel recently for about a week and could not find a pet sitter among my friends to watch over my cat Gohan. I put an inquiry into several pet facilities but pappys was the first to respond in a timely manner so I decided to go with them. I couldn't be happier with my decision! Gohan was very well treated over their visits and the daily updates with pictures gave me great confidence that my cat was not only safe and fed, but also getting some play time with his new friends. I will definitely be asking pappys to watch Gohan for all future travels. Special shoutout to Sky for the fantastic pictures and friendly updates throughout my travels.

These folks have taken care of my pack of dogs for years, both in home and in boarding. Love them - great team and am so lucky to have people I can count on!

Good place to get your pup’s energy drained out. Wish they could have outdoor space too. —- Unfortunately, I have to update my review. My dog was recently injured by another dog during day care with a designated attendant onsite. They did bring my dog to vet and get all the medicine afterwards, but from DIFFERENT vets. I don’t know what they told my vet during the first visit, but my vet was referring the wound as a ‘cut’, not nip or bite. So no medication or e-cone was provided. I don’t know who to blame here, maybe pappys didn’t tell the truth to my vet, or my vet was lying to me for liability reasons. I saw he has a copy of some kind of agreement from pappys in follow-up visit. Without the cone, a dog would easily and naturally lick the wounded area. Without antibiotics, infections
