I had such a wonderful experience adopting my dog from this shelter. From start to finish, the staff was kind, knowledgeable, and truly cared about the animals in their care. They took the time to answer all of my questions, were transparent about her medical history, and made sure she was the right fit for my home. You can tell the animals here are genuinely loved and well looked after. The adoption process was smooth, supportive, and stress-free, which made bringing my new pup home even more special. I’m so grateful for the work they do and for helping me find my girl. I would absolutely recommend this shelter to anyone looking to adopt and give a pet a loving home. 🤍

We were looking to add a cuddly cat from a selter after grieving over loosing a 4 year old cat unexpectedly for many months. We found PALS by Googling cat adoptions near us and we visited many of them. What we liked about PALS is that the cats were accessable in groups so you could see how they interacted with each other and us. There were so many loving and beautiful cats that it was difficult to chose one but after spending some time with them we chose our little black cat. Salem has been a wonderful addition to our family. He has a older sister that after a few weeks became his best friend and companion. The staff at PALS was friendly, knowledgeable and really seemed to care about finding the animals in their care a good forever home. Highly recommend.

Sasha, aka Rumor seems to like her new home! PALS has been the only place we've ever looked to find our new pet. We're so grateful to have an organization this close to home that takes such incredibly good care of the animals they service. Thank you for another incredible experience!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with PALS. We initially made an appointment to meet a dog we saw online, but it turned out to not be a good match for our family’s lifestyle. Jennifer (who is AMAZING, btw) then suggested that we meet another sweet dog, who we immediately fell in love with! We met Valley on a Saturday morning and Jennifer was so accommodating and drove an hour to our house for the home visit that same day! We then picked Valley up the next morning and she has been the perfect fit for us! Jennifer is so communicative and wants to ensure that every animal makes it to their forever home. You can tell that she and the other volunteers truly love the animals in their care. I found the facility to be nice and the animals to be well cared for. I would happily ad

I recently visited this shelter while trying to locate two missing dogs belonging to different people in our community, and the experience was deeply disappointing. The dog’s owner had contacted this shelter multiple times over several weeks and was repeatedly told they did not have her dog and that the dog was not there. She asked if she could do a walkthrough to look for herself and was denied. She was then told that the only way she could see any of the dogs was to fill out adoption paperwork—so she did exactly that. She completed the paperwork, left messages, and followed up weeks ago, yet has still received no return phone calls or communication. When I went in myself, I was told there are two separate rooms—an intake room that the public is not allowed to see and another area that
