Paddy's Paws

Recently rescued our second dog from Paddy Paws. The organization has only improved in eight years. They are pretty thorough checking out prospective adopters. They have periodic events to meet dogs. They now have a stand-alone facility that is clean, well lit, and has a fenced potty area for the dogs. We literally met our latest right from the transport van. She has fit right in with our family, too. She is a three year old Siih-Tzu mix that was surrendered in Houston, TX.

I just adopted little annie. A little chihuahua. This is the second time I adopted from this organization. I adopted 13 years ago and lost my little Molly 8 months ago and adopted and you know which is going on 3 months. Wonderful little dog and they do such wonderful things with all the animals.

My experience with Paddy's Paws was excellent. They want to set up the right dog with the right people/environment so the process is very detailed which is great. You know you're getting a dog that will fit with your lifestyle and one that will be happy in your home. They were very responsive and honest- high integrity and ethics in this organization. Our dog is perfect and there were no surprises with her behavior. We knew exactly what we were getting.

I recently applied for and was approved for adoption of a dog/puppy. This process was handled very professionally and quickly in spite of the fact that almost all correspondence was via email. There was one zoom call/in home visit, and a phone conversation about one of the dogs I was considering. At that point, I decided that I wanted to visit and possibly adopt a specific dog. The message was sent via email to Paddy's Paws by clicking the "reply all" button to the chain of emails that had been established. No response for over 48 hours. Within the 48 hour window, I sent 3 separate emails requesting that someone contact me regarding the adoption. All emails were sent as "reply all" to the original 9 emails. After the third email, 48 hours later, Karen finally responded. Karen informed me

I had the best experience ever though Paddy's Paws! It took a little time to get a virtual visit scheduled, but it's understandable as I'm out of their immediate area, and I know they're so busy right now. I was approved very quickly after that, and received immediate responses when I requested information about a dog on the website. Everyone was so nice and answered all of my questions, and it was so easy to meet and pick him up. He also already knew some basic commands and had been crate trained.
