I have been continually donating gently used and clean items to this thrift store and have had a great experience with Angie at the shelter as I find her to be very caring of all her animals. I moved from KC to my lake house 4 yrs ago and got adopted by many stray cats and Angie has helped me tremendously with getting them fixed. I'm still working on catching some and Angie has been so kind to extend a certificate to me without an expiration til I can round them all up. They are well fed and cares for at my house and have warm beds in the winter. We all need to keep doing our part to support the homeless pets that need us. When I'm in the area, I always make sure to visit my very favorite thrift store ever. It's called Ozarks Kat and K9 store, no-kill animal shelter, and adoption center, (formerly known as S.T.A.F.F.) The store has an amazing array of everything from adult and childrens' clothes, jewelry, kitchenware and small electrics, dishes, decor items, including lots of small seasonal decor, plus a craft room and a book room on the main floor. In the basement, you can find furniture, pet accessories, fishing and camping gear, handicap aids, headboards, hardware, luggage, lighting, shelves, artwork and picture frames, vacuums, large seasonal decor, and so much more. What a wonderful place to visit! Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Quite a selection of cats for adoption, didn’t look at the dogs. They have a veterinarian on staff and quite a few young cats. I drove all over central Missouri and they were the only humane society with cats available for adoption. They have a rather large operation so you’re bound to find just what you’re looking for!!! The kitten season is fast approaching. Good luck in your search for happiness!

I had a wonderful time visiting the shelter and thrift store. Angi, the shelter manager, is one of the most knowledgeable, caring and selfless women out there. The other staff members that I met were also very pleasant and dedicated to their cause. The facility is spotless and the animals are so well cared for. Not only is their housing impeccable, but they have many opportunities for stimulation and growth. The thrift store is a real gem; it is so well stocked with such diverse merchandise. You can find almost anything you need there. The prices are fabulous and the proceeds are going to such a worthwhile cause.
