Ozark Veterinary Clinic

This clinic is so great. I drive from Panama City anytime I need vet care for my baby. His name is Cash, he’s 5 yr old English bulldog. We see Dr. Smith I believe is her name, they are all amazing and always patient with Cash. If that don’t tell you wont nothing convince you.

This Clinic and their team are amazing! Their ability to diagnose and act fast in an emergency situation is outstanding they have earned my respect and trust. As well as a life long costumer.

Over the past 15 years, I’ve had both good and bad experiences with this veterinary office — the quality of service largely depended on which veterinarian happened to see our pet that day. So, I don’t want to take the “nuclear” route and say their care is bad, because that hasn’t always been the case. But here’s what happened during a few recent visits, and you can judge for yourself. I once brought in our outdoor cat for what looked like a small hole-type wound on her side. The vet stitched it up, but within two hours, she’d chewed the stitches out. After a bit of research, I discovered this wasn’t a wound at all but a botfly larvae cavity — a fairly common occurrence in outdoor animals in the south that typically heals on its own once the larvae leave. I recently took my 3 yr old husky to Ozark Vet clinic due to frequent seizures. I called the emergency # and got a call back from Dr. Smith. I explained to her what was going on and the current medication he was on and she told me to bring him in. We were taken back to a room quickly and Dr. Smith was very calm and patient with my dog and myself as I frantically tried to explain what happened. She was very thorough, testing his eyes and reflexes & went over his labs with me and suggested medication that other vets had not before. She seemed genuinely concerned for my boy. She was not trying to rush me because they were busy. While other vets at Ozark vet clinic are good, Dr. Smith is by far the best one we’ve seen.

Hands down the best veterinary clinic in the Wiregrass. They also have the best prices and several Veterinarians work there whom are compassionate and caring. I have been taking my dogs, cats and horses there since 1999.
