Our Town Kennel

I have been taking my dogs to Our Town Kennel for many years, My dogs have gone thru the training program with Sue and Levi, they have also been to daycare and grooming with Lisa. All the staff have always shown kindness, patience, and love toward both my dogs. Susan, Levi and Lisa have an abundance of knowledge and experience that they are always willing to share. They are good people, and take their profession seriously. Sue and Levi operate their business with a genuine love for all the dogs in their care. I would never doubt any of them to provide the best care and love, not only towards my dogs but for all dogs.

Congratulations to OTK on being recognized as 2025 top dog trainers in Hillsborough County. That comes from hard work, experience, and a lot of training hours. Levi and Sue are caring individuals and it shows in all that they do. Well deserved!

We have been using Our Town Kennel for the past few years. Every experience has met or exceeded expectations. I love that both my dogs get are excited and happy to go and come home smelling clean and are relaxed. Levi knows their personalities and is in tune to what they like or dont like. This visit particularly I am very grateful for Levi's experience and willingness to have their visit be successful. My older lab had a medical issue pop up right before our annual vacation and Levi reassured me that it was okay and he could handle it. I am also very grateful for the easy pick up and drop offs as well as the occasional social media postings.

We had taken Teddy to a number of trainers, but none of them were able to correct his wild behavior. A series of lessons with Levi got him (and me) right on track. Teddy is a different dog now. Levi introduced us to the appropriate training tools for Teddy's fearful responses to strangers. A crazy 80 lb dog isn't easy to deal with. Teddy is much calmer and happier now, a real gent.Thanks Levi, life changing.

Yesterday we took our 11y.o. collie for grooming at Our Town Kennel. He has been going to the same person at Our Town since a puppy. When they called to say Henry had died just as they were finishing, we were simply in shock! We were told he simply collapsed! I certainly do not believe that they meant to cause his death. We will never know what transpired at the kennel that would cause our Henry to have an apparent heart attack. The groomer was certainly aware of his personality and his dislike for the grooming procedure. It still makes no sense that our Henry would go for a grooming and not return. Our other dog is still looking for his buddy. I do not think my wife and I will ever consider using Our Town Kennel Again. I hope the people at Our Town Kennel can understand the pain
