I took my adopted Frenchie in for her 1st appointment with Dr. Powell. He thoroughly examined her, updated her medical needs, answered my questions and sent a message to my husband about not feeding human food to dogs unless he wanted to start eating dog food! Seriously, Oubre Animal Clinic has given our pets superior care for many years and I am confidant that the level of care will continue for more years.

From day one of my first visit, Dr. Powell and staff made us feel like we already had history. I had never experienced such professionalism and concern for my pets. My Bozo was a mixed breed, not purebred, but was treated as if he was the world's most valuable canine. Every trip to the clinic was a welcome home. They seemed to have remembered Bozo. He loved them and actually enjoyed his trips to the clinic. Such loving treatment and care. Dr. Powell would take the time to explain and educate which I greatly appreciated. I have never considered going elsewhere. Why would I? I found the best. From pup to his current 11 years Bozo has had the best care from Dr. Powell and his staff. I cannot praise this clinic enough! After my oldest pup appeared to suddenly be losing her vision, they treated her like she was their own! They got her in immediately, was ready to find a specialist and had several successful follow ups. She's back to herself 100% and I'm so grateful Oubre and Dr Powell were there! We just moved to TXK and so glad we quickly found a clinic and vet we can depend on!
