Orange County Animal Shelter

The employees were lovely! The animals were happy and the shelter was so clean! I am so happy with my new kitten from the OC animal shelter!

Adopted a sweet little dog from here. The facility was clean and quiet. The dogs seemed relaxed. Everyone was super friendly and cared about the animals.

Upon arriving at the Orange County Animal Shelter, my family and I were excited to adopt both a dog and a cat. We recently purchased a home and were ready to expand our family. At first, the staff seemed friendly and communicative, and the process started off smoothly. We found a dog and a cat we felt were perfect for us. We even requested that the dog be introduced to the cat to make sure they were compatible, and everything seemed to be moving forward. The only concern raised was that we already had a dog at home, and the staff wanted to ensure he was up to date on his shots. Although we had a vet appointment scheduled for February, we were willing to move it up if needed to continue with the adoption. We were later informed that our dog also needed to be neutered for us to adopt anoth

Have been looking for a dog for a few months and Gina and all the staff were super friendly and kind when we came for the meet n greet with my current dog. The facility was clean, the dogs seemed as happy as they could be and while I was only there for an hour, I saw no less than 5 dogs get outside time and some people time with staff/volunteers.

I had a great experience. I submitted my application and within 3-4 days I received a call to visit my now puppy. I picked him up that day at 9 weeks old and he will be 5 months old this month. He’s healthy and growing strong. They provided me with all his records, a bed, food, etc. Staff were very friendly, and the shelter was very clean.
