Operation Good Dog

Operation Good Dog was awesome for our dog's training. I can't say enough good things about the experience. Luke (trainer) was very patient with our dog and me! He took the time to explain the why as well as the how multiple times. Luke really helped me understand dog's psychology which is essential to successful training. We are extremely happy with the progress and experience overall. We continue to have Luke board and train him to this day! I highly, highly, recommend Operation Good Dog.

He’s not just focused on training your dog — he’s dedicated to helping you succeed by teaching you how to communicate effectively and continue the work at home. He emphasizes consistency and daily practice. My puppy first met Luke at around 3 months old, and now at 7 months, her obedience is outstanding for a puppy. She absolutely ADORES him. Pepsi recently stayed with Luke for a two‑week bootcamp, and despite the extremely cold weather, he still took her on multiple field trips to keep her progressing. His communication throughout was excellent — the videos he sent were incredibly helpful and made it easy for me to reinforce her training at home.

Luke is very knowledgeable and my two labradoodles had fun and learned so much from him. It was amazing to watch. They would look at him as if asking "whats next?! To my delight, they are trainable! ☺️ Luke trains the trainers as well. That was really important. It was very interesting and helpful to learn more about my dogs behaviors. Luke explained their body language clues and what to watch for. I highly recommend operation good dog!

Enthusiastic and Direct: Absolutely amazing results after our 4.5-month-old golden retriever puppy's 9-day board and train with Luke! The transformation is incredible. She's now very calm and her leash walking is phenomenal—she didn't pull me once on our first try! I’m also enjoying the silence; zero barking in the crate. Highly recommend Luke's training!

I cannot recommend Luke enough!! He is the most passionate dog trainer I have ever met. Luke took so much time explaining how to understand our dog and how we can best communicate with him. We have a very rambunctious blue heeler named Ranger that we rescued, and Luke helped us make so much progress with him! He had been attacked by other dogs in the past. We’ve worked on a lot of reactivity around guests coming over and meeting other dogs around our apartment. Ranger can be skeptical of some men, but he warmed up to Luke right away! After putting in the time and work with training, Ranger walks much better on a leash, is less reactive to other dogs, and has learned to love his crate more!
