I don’t even have the words to express how much we appreciate Lauren. She is truly one of a kind. Every time we bring our dogs in, she goes far beyond what’s expected showing them patience, kindness, and genuine love. She takes the time to explain things in a way we understand, eases our worries, and makes sure our dogs feel safe and cared for. It’s rare to find someone who combines so much skill with such a big heart. Knowing she’s there gives us complete peace of mind, and we honestly couldn’t ask for anyone better to care for our pups. She has become such an important part of our dogs’ lives, and ours too. We are endlessly grateful for her. All of the vets and staff at on point are the best!

What a crazy trip to On Point. We took in an Umbrella Cockatoo almost 4 years ago. I believe she was an owner surrender, not quite sure but Lola is the light of our life. Lola is also an egg layer. After laying an egg her cloacal prolapsed and Dr Yates was able to get her right in for a visit. Lauren was phenomenal and recognized our bird and she had cared for her in the NMB location previously. So did Dr Yates! They really tried their best to treat Lola but they had to refer her to Mt Pleasant to a specialist. Boy did they hit the nail on the head with this specialist as well! Thank you so much for your efforts to help Lola get better! The phone operators could use a little customer service help but overall we were very satisfied with Dr Yates and Lauren. Took my 14 year old dog in to find out he has a vestibular issue. Vet loads him up with medicine, after the 2 weeks and $300 of meds, the issue comes right back. This is normal, it happens. BUT, my wife takes him back in and the vet sells her $500 of blood tests, urine and fecal test, and sends her home with no instructions on the tests. My wife brings the urine and fecal tests back and they won’t take it due to it being longer than 4 hours since collected. They gave us no instructions so it was an honest mistake. We do it again. Now they won’t take it because we didn’t immediately refrigerate the sample and get it there before 4. Also could have been documented as something we needed to do. I brought my cat Butter in this past Monday thinking she had ear mites as ALL my 3 cats were scratching their ears and having similar symptoms. Butter’s ear was inflamed and I could not afford to bring all 3 cats in so I brought her in since she was the worst, but knowing all my cats were having similar problems. The staff was polite and helpful, however I was told 100% that she does not have ear mites. I even asked if they were sure as I was very convinced it was the problem, again, as ALL my cats had the same symptoms. They assured me it was not. That my cat had a “flea allergy” and an ear infection. The vet then gave me multiple options to her treatment which I was not too sure what to do as I’ve never dealt with a “flea allergy”. I loved the Vet! Didn’t spend a lot of time with me but she explained everything really well. What really shocked me was the $90 deposit I had to pay since I needed my baby seen the same day. I was desperate so I didn’t object. But I was forced to stay regardless of how long it took to see a Vet because I couldn’t afford to lose the $90 deposit. Seems like the hospital is more interested in getting money than focusing on affordable animal care.
