Omar’s Grooming

Three months ago I posted a review for Omar’s that I now regret as incomplete and unfair. I will try again here to correct that review which I posted in haste. We have had our Bouviers professionally groomed, mostly here in SB, for 30 years. We have received generally excellent results. We have been going to Omar’s for almost 10 years and have gotten excellent results, until the past two times. Both times our dog, Sumi, got a buzz cut when we requested 1” length and poodle feet, as we always have. In the past when she got a buzz cut we were given the opportunity to approve or not in advance, which we did, every time. Not these past two times, however. This is disappointing. Also, the second and most recent grooming Sumi was cut too closely is some of her most sensitive areas and w

Omar’s is the best! They make our boy Leo look beautiful and he smells amazing when he comes home. We love the friendly staff and the prices are very reasonable!

I love this place. I take both my dogs, one is a senior toy dog and he has weak joints and he never shakes with anxiety when we drop him off. The haircut isn't perfect because he can't stand for long but I honestly prefer that then forcing my senior dog to do what he can't or doesn't want to do. My other dog is a big ball of anxiety and usually stresses when we take her to the groomers but at Omar's she is calm and seems at ease. Makes me feel my dogs are cared for. Would 100% recommend this place!

I have 5 dogs and they all come here! They do a great job and have never had an issue. I recommend them!
