Omar's Exotic Birds

All our birds are from different stores. However, we purchase our bird food from here for all of our feather babies and they are healthy, happy, and energetic. Amazing place to purchase a bird, everyone we talked to was so kind. We live in San Diego, so it was quite a drive for us, and we found a beautiful turquoise green cheek conure locally. I'd recommend them hands down, five stars, every single time. Amazing customer service, interacting with the birds was so fun. Watching the babies get fed and holding them was next level heart warming. Their birds have fun and playful personalities and their store cockatoo was just adorable. I won't buy my bird food anywhere else now. 🥰🫶

Cute little place to buy birds. The staff is friendly and all the birds are hand fed and tamed. Great to come get your supplies or find a feathery friend for life

Everyone is very helpful. Very very friendly. Lots of beautiful birds. They sale mostly new exotic birds that are just fantastic. They also sale everything you could need. We have several parrots from them. Often we come in just to see the new birds. Did I say they provide food for almost every bird. Thought I would add more pictures of their great selection of bird food They have a bin system off almost every seed combination for most of the popular bird species. And there are seeds for customers to add or mix on their own. They do have 25 lb bags also. And before I forget to mention, they also have boarding services if you need someone to care for your birds if you need to travel etc. Omar’s have been around for a long time. Beautiful parrots, parakeets, finches, etc of large variety in this small shop. Love that the birds are kept out with lots of enrichment. I do wonder how they cycle through so many birds, where they end up at, and how ethical it is. However, I do enjoy coming in frequently to buy toys for my own parrot and I love interacting with all the cute birds and seeing the different body language/behavior with different bird species!

This store is amazing! I loved getting to interact with the birds. I was so tempted to bring one home but I already have several cockatiels of my own. Their toy selection was amazing so I got some for my flock at home. 10/10 if you love birds and need a place for quality care of exotics!
