Olowalu Dog Ranch

We have an almost 8 year Great Dane and decided to adopt a 6 month old Dane puppy. We thought our older Dane needed a friend. What started out as a nightmare ended up with these two dogs now being best buddies and this happy ending would not have been possible without the patience and guidance of Matthew Kramer. As it turned out, Koa, our older Dane, had no rules which was totally my husband’s and my fault. Most of what Kramer had to do was retrain us on how to interact with Koa and how to set rules for him to follow. Kramer was patient and methodical and we did our best to follow his instructions carefully. Don’t get me wrong - it took work, but boy was it worth it! Now Koa and Leilani play together, run on the beach together, drink out of the same water bowl and share the bed (our bed! 😂

CC & Kix are HAPPY & TIRED after a wonderful day at their favorite doggie day camp! They get to play with their friends all day long but have to follow the rules Kramer sets for the pack, so they come home BETTER BEHAVED than before! With 17-month old twin Bernedoodles we were looking for a venue where they could socialize with other dogs, as well as learn appropriate pack skills and behavior. They also receive a little training in the process! Additionally we schedule private training sessions which are awesome training for the pet parents! Kramer is kind and very knowledgeable and generously shares what he knows. It’s the perfect place for your fur kids to play and learn…AND it’s wonderfully affordable!! The BEST Day Camp on the west side and as far as we know on the island! Olowalu D

Our high-energy German shepherd puppy is happier and more well-behaved since becoming part of the pack at Olowalu Dog Ranch 6 months ago, thanks to the skilled efforts of Kramer and Cassie and the playful pups who quickly became her friends. We frequently use the ranch for daily and long-term stays, seeing it as a far better option than a boarding service that would keep her mostly in a kennel. Kala is always thrilled to return to the ranch, where she gets to play for hours, go on river hikes, and never spends a second alone. We also appreciate the vetting process, which guarantees that Kala will only be around vaccinated and well-tempered dogs. We wouldn’t trust our beloved Kala with just anyone, and we know she is guaranteed loving care and training with Kramer and Cassie.

Love, Love, Love Olowalu Dog Ranch. My puppy is a herding dog and needs to be able to run and get energy out. Cassie and Kramer are awesome with my pups. They are great with communicating any concerns and I feel they really care about all their pets on the property. Thanks for being here in Maui!!

Olowalu Dog Ranch has changed our lives for the better! My husband and I work full time and we also have a young Catahoula with LOTS of energy. We take Pua to the ranch Monday-Friday so he can get the exercise he deserves. Our catahoula is completely deaf and as a puppy was super timid and nervous around other dogs which was worrisome for us. Ever since taking him to the ranch he has become such a friendly boy with all the dogs we meet! I no longer worry about how he will react when we take him out and about and he comes home so happy. The staff is professional and friendly, we are so grateful to have found them!
