My little growly chihuahua hates nothing more than visiting the vet, so finding the right team to take care of him when he’s not feeling well is challenging and stressful for him and me. But the entire dog-loving team at this office from the front desk to the exam room does everything in their heart and power to give him a warm welcome. When he growls they double down on compassion, with one goal: make him comfortable and get him better… the praise they bestow, the petting and the medical care is all genuine and kind. They manage to make the tiny bundle-of-stress a little less stressed and in the end they always help him to feel better. I have been a client since 2010. My dogs have always been delighted to be there and love meeting the staff. They have provided appropriate treatment during an emergency, referred me to experts if needed, and when my dog went over the rainbow bridge, they helped my dog have a loving, peaceful transition. Mine were not the only tears in the room, to my surprise ( they had known Pierre since he was 8 weeks old) . Also, because they knew my dog’s temperament so well, they were able to do diagnostic x-rays without any sleeping agent and did this before office hours. I remain very grateful.

5 stars all around. Dr. Summers is amazing! Every doctor my dog has seen there is amazing. And the staff is professional, friendly, and wonderful with animals. My dog actually loves going to the vet because of them.
