I boarded my two (nervous/reactive, one with bite history) pups here about 2 months ago. They stayed for about 2 weeks while I was out of the country. The staff here are incredible. They know how to work with reactive dogs and nervous owners! I knew that Old Farm was a good decision the moment that I walked through the door. I was worried that my border collie would lose weight and maybe lick his paw to a nasty sore, due to separation stress. I was blown away at pick up. Healthy coats, no weight loss, tails wagging and happy. They even had my bite history boy happy and off leash with staff. I felt that this facility helped give my pups a positive association with other people. After a nasty experience with another "boarding kennel" in Missoula, I am so thrilled to have discovered this gem.

It has taken me a couple months to write this because first I’ve been totally heartbroken and second I’ve been so pissed that it was best not to write the review right away. We went on a cruise in June and I dropped three dogs off at Old Farm Kennel’s and pick them up the last day of June so they were there 10 days. It’s been 20 years since I used this Kennel and we didn’t have a good experience the last time our other dogs were there but I know they’ve changed hands several times so we thought we’d give them another try. The Kennel we usually use was full and unfortunately the person we were going to have stay at our home to watch our five dogs had something come up last minute and was not able to stay and we could not change our cruise at that point (although if I would’ve known this was

Old Farm Kennels is amazing! Truly the kindest staff that has a knack for remember your pups name. Dodge always races in excited to see everyone and comes home exhausted after his stay. Clearly he loves his time there! Really appreciate having such top care locally!

This was the first time I boarded my dogs ever and the staff were amazing at answering all of my questions and making me feel at ease with leaving my dogs in their care. Especially because one of them is dog reactive and is a little iffy with people at first, they were totally willing to approach it however he needed and were very flexible with both of my dogs needs. The communication with them is also super easy which is reassuring when wanting to check on your pups. I definitely recommend using them as they are all very caring, accommodating, and the kennels are super clean! Thank you!

We have been clients of Old Farm Kennels in Florence since Sept. 2022 On Monday, 7/8 I dropped my 2 dogs off for boarding and they were picked up Wednesday, 7/10. During their stay both dogs received severe burns from being turned out into gravel yards that were too hot. All four paws on both dogs have been burned. I understand they can't control the weather but being unable to properly care for dogs staying at their facility is unacceptable. Paws should never be burned - especially to this degree. For reference, the dogs have an air conditioned kennel with outdoor access, 3x/ day the dogs are turned out into a gravel yard. The gravel yard is where I believe they were burned. In addition to our dogs being burned they failed to administer my immunocompromised dog's medication. I provided
