I truly cannot thank this team enough for saving my dog’s life. He had to undergo emergency surgery, and as you can imagine, I was terrified. From the moment we walked in, the staff treated him like he was their own. They were honest, compassionate, and incredibly thorough in explaining what was happening and what our options were. The doctor performed an exploratory surgery and quite literally saved my baby. I am beyond grateful for their skill, urgency, and care. Post-op instructions were clear, pain management was handled well, and they made sure I felt supported every step of the way. As a pet owner, there is nothing more comforting than knowing your animal is in capable and compassionate hands. Because of them, I still have my best friend. Forever thankful. 💛

My husband and I just recently moved here to Athens Georgia. We were not sure on where to go with our cats for the vets and we were recommended by a coworker to go to Oglethorpe Animal Clinic. My husband and I took one of our cats to the vets to have them checked out due to the cats running nose and her allergies were acting up. When we got there and you walk into the waiting room to check in there was a board that was set up with the cats and the dogs appointment names. I have never seen this before and I thought it was pretty cool idea. The people at the desk were very nice when we checked in and out. When we got back to the exam room we were greeted highly with smiles and laughter. We have never had the experience of a business being so welcoming to their clients. We did not feel like

I started seeing this vet’s office when I had five cats. I took each of them in over the course of a year, some when they had an issue, and some just for a well check and vaccines. I had a fantastic experience every single time. I’ve seen all of the available vets and several of the techs and every single person has been helpful, positive, and attentive. Since then, we’ve adopted a stray kitten who came with a URI that ran through a few of the other cats and I’ve had to make several appointments over the past two months for illnesses and a spay. Again, every instance has been a positive experience where I left feeling confident in the treatment plan and that these folks truly cared about the well being of my beloved pets. We have an unfixed great Dane that tends to be aggressive in unfamiliar situations. All of the staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. They were able to make sure the lobby was clear of other animals before we came in and exited, and used lots of treats to make him happy during the visit. They even offered for us to stop by randomly for treats so that he could become more familiar with the office. We also have a senior great Dane in which they had great advice about - holistic and pharmaceutical depending on our preference. All staff was friendly and professional. We never feel like this office tries to make us pay for things we don't really need or pay abnormally large amounts for procedures/test.

Was able to get a quick appointment. They treated us and our dog great and the price was very reasonable. This is our go to vet practice from now on.
