Ocean Sands K-9 Resort

We left our Dog Lucy for the weekend when travelling to the Outer Banks. Pam is very thorough with booking and getting details to ensure best care for your pet! Communication was great and Lucy was happy when we picked her up. Thanks for taking good care of our Lucy!

Boarded my dog during our week at the beach. He was very well cared for with a private kennel so there is no concern of dog violence or any germs. He also had supervised play time with the kennel staff. You can have confidence when you leave your dog with them.

I boarded my 10 year old pup, Kaya, this week with Ocean Sands K-9. The drop off was super easy. She has a lot of medicines which Pam and Paul were obviously able to take care of. When trying to leave, my dog actually ran back to them behind the counter. It took a little bit of convincing to leave, so she clearly had a good time. We are back home and she is sleeping soundly after her own little vacation. Their prices are also very reasonable. We will be back next year! Owners made this experience so much easier than we could've hoped. We recently rescued a second Aussie Cattle Dog, Walker but are still working through some issues. We knew he couldn't stay in the beach house with us (too many people and their dogs already) but were terrified about dropping him off in a kennel due to his having been abandoned so many times by previous owners. Pam and Paul put us at ease; they clearly know what they're doing and how to handle sometimes-dificult dogs. They also sent us regular updates on Walker's progress adjusting to his surroundings which was nice. I definitely recommend taking Pam's advice on visits during your pet's stay! Walker almost didn't want to leave when we went to pick him up. We will definitely use Ocean Sands K9 in the future, if needed. I can
