Oakley Square Animal Hospital

I happen to have had an poor experience with this animal hospital. My Dog ended up getting a slight gash wound & while the technician Kelly has been helpful, the others (veterinarians) seem to be very dismissive and poor with communication on even caring to assist within this specific situation. I rushed in to get my dogs wound assessed & with very little evaluation, I am suddenly given bandages, an antibiotic, & told to come back (sedate my dog every time he comes in for even a check up) for a thorough evaluation. I am then billed over $120 for just showing up & nothing really examined closely on my dog. I was also told to monitor the wound over the weekend and call back to schedule further steps. Every one of my pets has been and are patients here. They listen, examine thoroughly, test if needed, and then respond with treatment. Doctors want to continue communication with you and want to know how their patients are doing with the treatment. When it is time to say goodbye, the whole staff is caring, supportive, understanding, and concerned about your family. I know this because they have been my family's Veterinary care for over 30 years.

Oakley is amazing with our frenchie. He does not like going to the vet, he’s very aggressive towards them, and they are so kind about it. The vet tech Ashley is especially amazing! She goes above and beyond to try to calm him down. All of the vets we’ve worked with there are very nice and thorough. They do what they can even when your pet makes it extremely difficult!

Oakley Square has been caring for our fur babies for nearly 18 years. We love the staff here and many of them have been there forever, which tells me they must be doing something right. They are kind, friendly and thorough. Dr. Bends has been with us through two crazy (high maintenance) corgis and just has the most gentle and compassionate bedside manner. I trust her and the team’s expertise and truly appreciate that they meet us where we are especially as our pups enter their golden years. Even when the office is busy they always take the time to answer all our questions and discuss everything thoroughly. I can’t imagine our pups going anywhere else.

So impressed! They made us feel welcome immediately. My daughter recommended them and I couldn’t be happier. You can tell all of the staff members love animals. Professional. On time.
