We cannot express our gratitude enough to OVG and Dr. Ned specifically! The entire staff works together like a well oiled machine, and they truly love and care about their job, which is very obvious. Each team member from calling, to the front desk, to the vet techs are all SO knowledgeable and competent at their positions. But most importantly is the level of care that we have received for our 7yr old pup, Oso! She ruptured her CCL and needed immediate TPLO surgery. This can be a daunting and costly diagnosis to say the least! But they were beyond informative, upfront about the cost (which is extremely competitive for central California!), and have helped us throughout the entire process with great care and kindness. My dog has been a patient of OVG for a couple of years now and never once have I had one bad experience bringing her in! They are always so nice and welcoming and my dog is very vocal and has pretty bad anxiety at the vet and they do a phenomenal job with her each time! Today my tech was absolutely amazing and she went above and beyond! Her name is Cameron and she is an angel sent from above!!! Dr. Walsh was amazing as well and really helped my pup out with an emergency! They handle my dog with care every single time and they are beyond nice and so sweet and explain everything! This is hands down the best vet I've had for my animals. Had the greatest experience there. Thought my other review pushed over. Everyone was incredibly nice. The girls and Dr Leslie loved my Rottie!! He loves them back…he was not stressed at all!! I wish I could have people at my business be that friendly!! I’m always so scared to change doctors for anything but not here. I couldn’t be any happier unless it was free! LOL. Thank you all so very much!! Stout is next!!

The veterinarian and staff at Oakdale Vet. Hospital were skilled, professional, empathic, compassionate. They did surgery on my 17 year old cats broken leg and they took excellent are of her during her stay. They called to check on her encouraged me to call for help. I'm so thankful and greatly appreciate there kind care and skills.

Not only will I recommend OVG, I can't even count how many friends/dog owners I already have told about the excellent care our dogs have received at your hospital. Bello's knee surgery was a success and Dexter was cured from his ear and paw infections. Well worth the 2 hour drive from Bay Area, the skills and the pricing (which is secondary to the skills) are hard to find elsewhere).
