Oakbrook Veterinary Clinic has been wonderful for our pets. We have two dogs and a cat, and the entire team is always kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. The vets take time to explain everything clearly and never make you feel rushed. The staff is friendly and patient, which makes visits much less stressful for both pets and owners. Dr Schumman and his team are nothing short of extraordinary. When my older dog started suddenly showing signs of diabetes, they were able fit me right in the next day, even though I know their schedule is very tight. They were so compassionate and caring towards my animal and my family when breaking it to us that she indeed has t1 diabetes which is a serious, lifelong condition. They spent over 2 hours sitting with us and patiently explaining the ins and out and management of her condition and they even let me practice giving my dog fake insulin injections so we were comfortable with the routine. We love Oakbrook Veterinary for both of our fur babies. Everyone from the girls up front to the the techs and doctors in the back are fantastic taking time and answering questions that we may have and checking out our little one's thoroughly.The facility is always neat and clean. From her first visit to her last, Oakbrook took care of my girl for the last 11 years. I never had a bad experience and they were always so patient with Nala even when she would growl and try to bite them. If you’re searching for a new vet, I highly recommend!

When my current vet could not see my sick dog they made time to see her. They were kind, professional, and reasonable when it came to treatment. Our 2nd visit was also a bit of an emergency and they fit us in and took great care of us. We cannot say enough good things about everyone there!!! All 3 of our dogs have been there now. 3 visits have been same day fit in the schedule due to urgent in nature. We absolutely love them and what they stand for!! Not out to rob you blind but to do the best for our fur babies. Highly recommend them!
