Took my dog to get examined for his teeth to be cleaned. They didn't even put the teeth cleaning on the estimate. They didn't tell me that if I didn't get the teeth cleaning done within six months that my dog would need to be reexamined. I told them initially that I was going to wait until january to get it done. The owner was so rude and hasty. Instead of just being kind and courteous saying, i'm sorry that my staff didn't inform you of this dilemma.But we still have to do an exam for safety purposes, she just snapped too well if you're not happy, you can go to another vet. When I tried asking questions about the anesthesia, the only explanation that they "it's recommended". I have a science degree that's medically based, and I would like a real explanation. There is ZERO communication with this veterinary office, absolutely ZERO. Try calling their published phone number, and it will not even ring once. An immediate message will tell you they are busy, and you can call back later. Your calls will NEVER go through. I've even tried to email them to make an appointment and they NEVER respond, ever. Finally, their hours changed with COVID in 2020, and they have remained pandemic-type hours; walk-ins only. You have to wait in your vehicle to be called into the building. They are only open 3 hours in the AM and 3 hours in the PM, Monday-Friday. Don't put yourself through this; find someplace that will be good to you and your pets.

My Baby was on his third day of being sick. He was so sick that we have no clue how he even made it. We took him to Oak Hill animal hospital were they diagnosed him with Parvo and worms a very serious case of worms at that because he has been dewormed regularly. He had lost so much weight and in three days was so weak and was barely fighting for his life and not a lot of people thought he was gonna make it, at one point I honestly think he gave in I began to cry and beg God to give me some more time with my baby boy, that I think of as my own child. Such a wonderful atmosphere. They will do whatever they can to figure out what's going on with your fur baby. It is very comforting knowing my baby is in great hands.

Best vet around Oak Hill Wv. They are great with my dog and cat . I'm sure with all animals. I've been bringing my pets here for 12 years
