So I decided to get a Doberman puppy. Knowing that Dobermans were a very loyal and protective dog, I wanted to make sure that I had her trained correctly. My big pet peeve if you will :-) is irresponsible pet owners. I hired NWB Dogs for a 5 week training and boarding class for my pup at 9 months old which is a bit early however, wow! She received e-collar training and obedience training like I would never guess. I truly love my dog and we are absolutely the best of friends. I am always getting compliments of how well behaved and amazing she is. The training she received was the building blocks that allowed me to simply continue in our home. Now, at 3 years old, she simply is the sweetest and most well behaved dog. I contribute everything to Matt and his staff's training. I constant
Matt at NWB changed our lives through helping my dog (Cricket) and I understand each other. From the moment we met, we knew that things were going to change forever. Cricket was taught how to relax, think and control herself, while I was taught to understand, help, and protect Cricket. Every dog that becomes a part of my life will be taught how to live, in the same manner that Matt was able to teach myself and Cricket. I am forever grateful, proud and thankful that Matt became such an influential part of our life together.
Matt has been a game changer for me and my reactive Doberman. I adopted Bruce a year ago and we did a session per month throughout the year and saw huge improvements. My living situation has since changed and I needed more consistent training for the both of us to be able to live in a busy city/smaller living space, so Bruce is now in the middle of his 4 week board and train with Matt and I already see even more improvements that I didn’t think were going to be possible!! Matt’s dedication to your dog and you as the handler is incredible. He’s passionate, knows his stuff, and you can absolutely trust that you’re getting your money’s worth so you and your dog can live a more comfortable, fun life together. I’m very grateful to have found NWB Dogs and I’m so excited to see all progress we’ve
Mat and Jen were able to take a young dog that was like a teenager on a pogo stick that wanted to jump on everyone he met with great excitement and turn him into a very well behaved dog, who is a real gem to have around. The purpose of all the training was to be able to get him trained as a service dog for a disabled veteran. We have now completed his service dog training, and he is doing great. NWB Dogs was the best and a great start for our dog and the training we received as a dog owner, was outstanding. We would recommend them to anyone that wants a well behaved dog for either just a family pet or working service dog. We have done some extended trips traveling in our RV, visiting a number of National Parks, and other events including a wedding. Everwhere we have been with our serv
Matt is an amazing trainer he gave us hope working with our German shepherd Maicoh when everyone else was scared to work with him he said he’s got potential! We did private lessons and gradually our pup became more confident and we gained confidence in him! The NWB pack was amazing to practice training around other similarly reactive dogs and learn that our dog wasn’t alone it felt nice to hear from other owners that everyone has struggles but we can all improve our relationships with our dogs and get to a point that it’s safe to be out in public and not so worried:)Thanks a bunch Matt!!
