We brought our 14.5 year old dog to Northway after he ate some raisins while on vacation. We're used to bringing our dogs to MSPCA Angell at home in Boston, so we were a little apprehensive about what Northway would be like. Fortunately, we were absolutely astounded by the professionalism, knowledge, and empathy all the staff showed us. The facility itself is clean and the ER is comprehensive. The front desk staff was personable and kind throughout our time there. The vet we saw, Katie -- we only caught her first name -- is a world class veterinarian. She helped us and our dog immensely. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but she showed us so much empathy and let us talk and express our concerns. If you think any of pets need emergency care, do not hesitate to brin

Thank you to Dr. Shawn and all of the staff that were working this past Saturday night as they helped my sweet Miss Kitty cross the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Shaun was also her regular vet at Corinth and I’m happy that he was the one to help with her transition. He has a WONDERFUL team there as well. Thank you to Sara/Sarah who was working the reception desk that night. Euthanasia is never easy for anyone involved and her care and compassion for both my girl and I was outstanding. And a special thank you to the lady who brought my girl to the back after I had said goodbye so that I didn’t have to leave her alone. You are all angels. I wish I didn’t have to make the decision that night, but I am so glad that I chose to bring her to Northway.

Dr Corbin Harris and (I believe it was) LVT Marisa took exceptional care of our puppy. When our four month old puppy sliced his paw pad on a shard of glass, Dr. Harris was very clear with his plan, prognosis, and expectations for wound care. Our puppy was absolutely infatuated with Marisa. Our home vet was very impressed with Dr. Harris’ stitches and the dressing. 10+ days out and the stitches that were not likely to hold up are dissolved and we have a scarred but beautifully intact paw pad. Our big baby is back to normal and still has no idea he was ever hurt. We hope we don’t have to use your services ever again, but it’s so good to know that they’re available during the weekend!

Nothing worse than having to bring your pet to an emergency vet while on vacation! Northward Animal Emergency Clinic were amazing. Open on a holiday weekend, took my dog right in. Everyone was compassionate from the lovely ladies at the front desk, pet care tech and the doctors. Great communication and care. Thankful we found them and got out dog back to health and to us the next day.

DO NOT BEING YOUR PET HERE!! Brought my dog in around 7:30 on Saturday night, dog was coughing mucus up, and breathing heavy. Sat in an exam room until 9:30 when the per diem vet tech came in to review the “quote.” I asked what had been done for my dog in the two hours I waited, and she replied “well nothing.” They then proceeded to try and get me to pay almost $2000 to diagnose what’s wrong with my dog, and told me they had no way of knowing without blood work, X-rays etc. I called my vet, who made an appointment with me on the spot. I let the staff know I’d be taking my dog to my vet- and they immediately got hostile, saying it was against medical advice etc. making false claims about the cost of other establishments and telling me my dog was going to die if I took him.
