My dog who is more than obviously sick not to the appearing eye but I brought my dog into at very least get a basic physical checkup/ exam to check him out we're they were offering first visit free for new clients... What they did I coulda did myself they asked about his eating and if he got table scraps... And then asked me about flea and tick meds and heartworm meds we were basically put in one of there exam rooms and told there was nothing they'd b able to do so I wasted my time and a 60$ Uber ride up to Ashland for nothing I think with or without a rabies receipt they should still be able to check the animal out wen I got home later on that night I did some research of my own and alota if the symptoms I been noticing my dog put off r alot if the same as heartworm so ur guna tell me jus

Sabrina, the practice manager, conducts herself with kindness, courage, and a deep level of care for animals and their owners even outside of business hours. I experienced this not at the clinic but while we were both traveling and happened to be in the same hotel. After witnessing me have to advocate for my guide dog's safety Sabrina took time to check on us and make sure both myself and my guide dog were okay. That is a level of care and integrity that speaks volumes. While I am not local I have saved the clinic she works at as a place I would trust should I ever be in the area. Anywhere Sabrina works is somewhere I would bring my lifeline with confidence that my guide dog and I would both be treated with care.

We love NLVH! The vets, techs, and staff at NLVH care for your pets like they would for their own pet. From yearly appointments to end of life care, they are knowledgeable, helpful, and compassionate.

I brought my kitten to this vet for the first time and I was very satisfied! They did a wonderful job explaining everything to me and they also treated my cat so well.we will be bringing him and our dog there from now on.I trust them 100% with all my animal's!

An exceptional veterinarian in Ashland, NH!!! We cannot thank you enough for your help. On a visit through New England, we noticed what originally appeared as a tick burrowing into our pup's back. Since we were staying at Ames Brook, we decided to play it safe and take a short walk to Northern Lakes Veterinary Hospital. Upon arrival, we let Chelsea at the front desk know about our concerns, as expected. we were asked about prior visits or records. Since we were from out of state, we had our pup's records. Chelsea was kind enough to go in the back and discuss. Meegan one of the Vets came out and diagnosed that it was just a large scab (not sure how old it was as it was black and about the size of a tick) and she took Peanut in the back to clean the wound.
