North Shore Paws Dog Training

So, my Rottie was at Mikes for 4 weeks. I waited a few weeks before I left a review so I could include everything that’s still working. Mike is a dog whisperer. Axel continues to display your basic commands and good behavior by staying in the yard. I have no fence. When I went to drop Axel off, Mike saw one of his issues first hand because Axel dragged me on my butt across his lawn. Axel no longer does that when walking with me. Axel doesn’t jump on people anymore and he doesn’t try to chase after cars. We decided that putting an e-collar on Axel would benefit both of us. I barely use it. It’s on everyday too. Axel listens to all of our family where he used to only listen my husband and my son. I attribute Axel’s good behavior is to maintenance training. 10 min a day practicing commands

I sent my two German Shepherds for the 3 week board and train to firm up their obedience and start E-collar training. The change in them was immediately noticeable in their responsiveness to commands and their general demeanor. If you are looking for a board and train Mike is amazing.

My experience with Mike has been amazing!! I had a session with him to help me professionally communicate boundaries and respect with my dog. He was very informative and educated, and super easy to understand that I can even continue working with my dog on my own. I highly recommend using him if you need help with any aspect of dog training, as I wouldn’t let just anyone go near my dog and he was fantastic! 10/10 always going to him for whatever else I need.

Our 7 month old hound mix, Sadie just came back from a board and train with Mike and we couldn't be happier! From the moment I called Mike I felt at ease that he could help us with building a strong foundation for a calm, happy puppy. I was nervous to send Sadie to board at first and felt like we failed her. But, my family and I struggled with consistency and time. Sadie wasn't listening to our commands and we were stressed out! Mike was very understanding and answered all my questions before, during, and after her time with him. I love that he provided our puppy with real life situations, socialization, and great videos and instructions for us to learn from. We are so pleased with the results and would highly recommend this experience for all people looking to have a better behaved puppy.
