North Kenilworth Veterinary Care

I recently moved downtown and visited North Kenilworth Veterinary Care with my Doberman, Phoenix. I had initially booked an appointment regarding a potential emergency issue (paraphimosis), but by the time of the appointment three days later, the issue had resolved. My primary goal for the visit then became obtaining necessary vaccinations and records for my new apartment. I was disappointed by the clinic's rigid business model. I was informed that they would not provide vaccinations unless I first paid for the full 'emergency' checkup, claiming vaccinations are only 'add-ons.' It felt like the clinic was prioritizing a higher-priced ticket over the actual needs of the pet and the owner. Amazing over the phone service. While I have not gone here, I had the pleasure of speaking over the phone with a lovely receptionist 2/20 9:50 am. I'm so sorry I forgot your name due to the nature of our call and how distraught I was because of my older dogs condition. I believe it started with a D, maybe diana or Denise. Either way, she was very compassionate and patient. She explained reasoning for x-rays and blood work better than the Dr at the other hospital I was taking him to. Thank you so much for the clarity and overall genuine concern for my situation ❤️.

The staff was very accommodating. Im disabled and use a power chair. They let me use the back entrance so it was no problem getting my girl in for her appointment. She got all her shots, nails trimmed and check up fast and easily. They were so good with Tilly, she's a shy chihuahua. She loves people but gets a bit nervous. They handled her so well! Definitely give them a chance to take care of all your furry babies. Im glad I did.

My cat was put down at Kenilworth after a long and happy life. The staff at Kenilworth were always cheerful and friendly on every visit, and most importantly treated my cat with the utmost care. I recommend them highly!

I recommend that the rabies certificate be given to the dog owner the day of the shot. I need to provide the certificate when licensing our dog. I don't have it and I'm waiting for the veterinarian to return from vacation to sign the form. Hopefully I won't have to pay a late fee to Maricopa County. Just my thought.
